I gave friends my number,
they called and we talked.
But sometimes time is scare, so instead it was

Working for myself I gave out my number
Work started to come via sms
and it was nice to earn money from

Meeting people and talking
I met someone special
and found such great joy from

As each day progressed
The feelings within grew and grew
It meant a whole lot more when I saw
1 message received

Everyday, when the phone did buzz
and the little tune was played
I knew I’d got another joy in the form of
1 message received

It would fill my heart with joy,
when you said that you too
feel great when you see,
1 message received

As the days passed,
the quantity of messages increased.
I was continually seeing,
1 message received

We met and enjoy each others company.
We talked to each other
and didn’t need to see
1 message received

Back at our homes, we still talked and talked,
but then nothing came through
and I did not see
1 message received

Time tore at me, but all was good
for they had replied that
“Sorry, was busy and couldn’t reply” to the
1 message received

Things progressed and more plans where made.
But something happened
and once again I did not see
1 message received

I waited and waited, then felt that joy
for I could see upon the screen
those magic words that said
1 message received

But the message brought unhappy news,
For the plans they could not attend.
It was the first time I didn’t like seeing
1 message received

Something bad had happened
and it would take all of their time.
I might not see any more from them of
1 message received

Wanting to help in any way,
I needed to tell them I’m there for them.
Only one way, They’ll have to see
1 message received

Reading their reply,
brought tears to my eyes.
For God might be getting
1 message received

Not really know what to do,
I knew I couldn’t do nothing.
So I typed and typed so they still got a
1 message received

But, hearing that it has to stop before it had started,
I didn’t and couldn’t really believe it,
that’d I would not see from them the lovely
1 message received

I understand the pain they might be feeling.
It hurts that I might not be able to help.
For I so long to see the words
1 message received

I do not want to miss the times,
when I’ll hear the phone buzz
and it means so much to see
1 message received

But I won’t give up on something
just because it disconcerts me.
I’d still much rather see
1 message received

So please don’t stop sending the little joys
I so dearly loved and enjoyed,
when I saw upon my phone
1 message received

I will wait and wait
for all eternity
Until I see
1 message received

How many of these do you remember?

The infamous Zeus trojan has causes many problems around the world, but might be usurped by another more sophisticated trojan called Carberp. It has already been used to empty bank accounts across Europe and America by a criminal group.

“Technicians report that Carberp can hijack the two-factor authentication used by some of the most popular banks by borrowing the capabilities of rival trojans Zeus, Gozi and Spyeye to inject HTML overlays.”

This is scary stuff!

“It can also install onto PCs without the need for administration rights, meaning it can bypass the tougher access controls of Microsoft’s latest operating systems, and has a sophisticated and rarely-seen browser-hijacking capability that can commandeer all internet traffic, including secure HTTPS with Extended Validation-SSL.”

What this means, is your secure transaction, could be received and understood by someone else.  If this is a bank or credit card transaction, your details could then use it to take your money, buy things on-line, or worse still – steal your identity.

So if you use you PC for ANY type of on-line banking and want to minimize the risks of falling victim to a cyber attack, I don’t think you use the PC for any of the following

• Playing games, especially on-line ones
• File sharing
• Installing downloaded software (without testing on another PC first)
• Instant messaging
• Social networking sites (like facebook and twitter)

Of course this doesn’t mean you won’t become a victim, but it may help in reducing the risks.  Just being connected to the internet has a certain amount of risk involved.

You might even consider

• having a total separate PC, purely for your on-line banking.
• Only turn on the internet port when you want to do banking. (Don’t forget, which is easy, to turn it off again)

Most people know you have to have the latest up to date anti-virus, but some people forget or don’t know, that you should also get a good firewall too.  This will help stop outside attacks and nasty rouge programs from getting out (and sending your important data!)

• Do you want a free blog?

  They have lots of easy to use tools and templates to help you make your own website!
  You won’t have to pay anyone for a great looking site!
  Most free ones do come with some form of advertising banner to help pay for your site.
  Usually it’s at the top of the page. but some may have it on the side, all depends on the provider.
  Some may highlight/link certain words on your site will that relate to an advertiser.  (You can actually earn money using this form of advertising technique if you want)
  .
• Do you want no advertising or strange links on your site?
  Then for a small fee, you can get you own site,  and get your own domain name like I have at www.aussiesnrg.com with Bravenet.com
  As you can see I don’t get any advertising or strange links on my site. (except for the ones I want of course, like the following)

  I’ve looked at a lot of other hosting places and NO ONE I have found comes even close to amount they give you and/or the price you pay! Brilliant!

  • You don’t need to know how to program!  (Other people have already done it for you for free!)

  It does require a few extra tricks from your hosting area like a mySQL database and PHP scripting.
  For those that don’t know…
  Domain Names (or a URL or Web address) are the things that people type into the browsers address  (or find through Google) to get to your site.
  For example:   Clicking on this link www.aussiesnrg.com will take you to the top level of my site.
  Hosting is where the pages to your web site are stored on the internet.  (Could be anywhere!)
  The mySQL database will store all the stuff you and other people type into your blog.
  The PHP scripting is required by the blog pages, to get and display the information from the mySQL database.
